There is something deep and spiritual about making pottery by hand. Perhaps it comes from an unconscious understanding that we are, in some ways, like the clay- molded and shaped into our present forms with lots of quality time, nurturing and care. Not to mention, everyone is truly unique!
Since our fingertips contain some of the densest areas of nerve endings on the human body, simply playing with clay and stimulating the pressure points in our hands can have immense therapeutic benefits. The joy of creating something with your hands – the commitment to the process, the delicate care and love – all have a way of evoking that deep connection to our inner selves.
Clay also provides a natural way to connect with body and breath — the malleability and immediacy of the material naturally integrates the mind-body connection, something much needed in our often-hectic lives.

Weekend Therapy
Date: Sunday, 12th May 2024 Location: Estancia; The Pro-working Space
Timing : 05:00pm-06:30pm
Experience the art of pottery and immerse yourself through the meditative process of Handbuilding (without using the wheel) and create your own Ceramic Planter and decorate it. Take it home after few days once I glaze and fire them.

Private Group Workshop

Call it a family or friends day out and experience the beauty of clay along with a wonderful time with your loved ones. You get to take your creations home after few days.

Wheel Pottery Course Level 1
Duration : 8 sessions (4 weeks), Total 24hrs.
Timings :
(Saturday & Sunday) 10:00am-01:00pm
Objectives:
– Introduction to Basics of Ceramics
– Understanding clay as a material, preparation of clay, clay centering
– Basics of hand-building
– Focus on Wheel Throwing by learning how to make the most important form on wheel
– Modification of forms
– Creation of your own small collection
The course fee includes all materials you will use at the studio and firing charges, as well as a pottery tool kit to keep.
