Fabric is being used along with clay to give it a character which is further enhanced by tiny buttons, glazed and fired at 1200 degrees.

Due to the nature of the craft, when you see the mug from top it is slightly deformed which does not affect its functionality. They were made with equal love & effort but I guess they wanted to break the rules.
