All ceramics are crafted in Shivangi’s studio in Indore, where she focuses on blending nature’s intricate details with artisanal techniques to create unique pieces.
Are your ceramics food-safe?
Absolutely! All of our tableware is made using lead-free, food-safe glazes and materials, making it perfect for everyday use.
Are your ceramics dishwasher and microwave safe?

How should I care for my ceramics?
Are your glazes scratch-resistant?
While our glazes are durable, using metal cutlery may leave minor marks. To maintain their pristine finish, we recommend using wooden or silicone utensils.
STUDIO VISITS AND WORKSHOPS
Can we visit your studio?
The studio is open for visits and meetings by appointment only. Please contact us at [email protected] or through Instagram to schedule your appointment. As it is a working studio, we may not always be able to accommodate visits on short notice.
Do you conduct workshops?
Yes, we host one-time workshops for beginners and ceramic enthusiasts. Follow our website or social media for updates on upcoming sessions.
Do you teach? Can we schedule personal lessons with you?
Shivangi offers personal classes (in small batches of 3). As Mridakaari is primarily a production studio managed by Shivangi alone, regular classes can be challenging to schedule. Class dates are announced in advance on our Instagram, website, and via email, and you can register for available sessions.
Can we intern with Mridakaari Ceramic Studio?
Absolutely! If you’re interested in interning, please send an email with your portfolio an cover letter to [email protected]. Interns will be involved in all aspects of pottery production, and the experience will include hands-on learning in a full-fledged production environment. Please note that this internship does not offer a stipend, but interns will receive a personalized letter of recommendation. Interns also have the opportunity to develop their own ceramic pieces while assisting with ongoing production work. We encourage applicants to ensure they’re physically able to work in a studio setting.
